Keeping Up With Meech Coates

Meech Coates is from Akron, Ohio. Meech is in the class of 2025 and wants to compete.  Meech works on making sure the ball is moving and you set your team up for good shots. We look forward to seeing him play at the NEO Youth Elite Ohio Showcase in February!

What grade are you in? 4th Grade
What AAU program do you play for? Hard Work  Basketball 
Who are your sport heroes and why? Lebron James – He attacks the rim and passes the ball as often as he shoots.
Can you tell me about 1 or 2 things you do in training to improve your game? Working on dribbling and shooting.
What have you learned about team work? If you have good ball movement you can get a good shot. If you get good shots you get buckets.
Tell me about your favorite NEO Youth Elite Moment.  – This is going to be the first one. I am looking forward to seeing good competition.
