Wear plain, black basketball shorts free of logos/designs. You may also wear your "NEO Shorts." DO NOT bring personal basketballs-we have plenty!
What are "Evaluators"? Why are players being evaluated?
What sets our camp apart from other camps is we hire professional basketball evaluators whose job is to watch your every move! This way we can do a thorough write up on you if you make the ALL-STAR team. Evaluators are looking for good ALL-AROUND players based on effort, defense, offense, a good attitude. Evaluators realize that players in showcases have never played or practiced together. Unlike AAU or team ball, showcases tend to be a different style of play. Only the Top 20 will get published write ups on our site. Our evaluators ALL have basketball EXPERIENCE because they have EITHER coached HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL, played PROFESSIONAL BASKETBALL OVERSEAS, OR IN THE NBA.
Can players purchase a “mix tape”?
Yes! NEO Youth Elite makes mix tapes. Click here to purchase. We also invite over national media outlets such as Ball is Life, Overtime, Hoop City, Balldawg, Courtside Films and many more!
Are parents allowed to stay with their children?
Yes, parents are welcomed to sit in the bleachers and watch or may leave and come back.
