Toronto City Elite When did you first get interested in basketball? My mom worked for NBL which is pro league in Canada and i was abke to go in locker rooms while she took care of players i got to sit courtside to most game and i believe thats were my love for this game started. Tell me about an exciting game that you played in. I was playing in the ABS All Star game i got 38 points and got MVP the best was hitting a hail mary shot from 3 to bring the game in overtime. How much time do you spend training and practicing? I practice with my team 6 hours a week and with a skills trainor for about the same amount so 12 hours a week. What words of encouragement do you have to share with younger athletes? Get in the gym and train if you want to get better! I've seen what hard work has done for me. As my trainer always tells me be a hunter not a farmer. What are you looking forward the most at NEO Youth Elite? Great competition, meeting new friends and playing ball.

 Class of 2022 shooting guard Ryan Neal is coming in to NEO Youth Elite February event. Ryan has a great work ethic and is always working on his craft. He is traveling from Knoxville, Tennessee and is ready to compete. We welcome Ryan to the courts at NEO Youth Elite and look forward to seeing him play.
What is your name? Ryan Neal What grade are you in? 7th Grade What AAU program do you play for? Bobby Maze Elite 8th grade Tell me an exciting moment of a game that you played in? My middle school team was playing one of the best teams in the league and our starting point guard was out and I had to fill in when my normal position was Shooting Guard. We were up by a lot, then they went on a run and it was almost tie game and we made many shots down the stretch and won on their home court. How much time do you spend practicing and training? I spend anywhere from 1-5 hours scrimmaging and working on drills in the gym. Can you tell me 1 or 2 things that you work on during training? I work on my dribbling speed and moves and i work on my shooting form. What advice do you give a younger player just starting out? Focus on getting better not playing on an AAU team when you have to stay on the bench because the players are better. What are you looking forward to at the NEO Youth Elite event? Looking forward to see how my talents compare to the other guys who work as hard as me.  Class of 2021 CamRon Gaston is from Toledo, Ohio. He just registered for his first appearance at the NEO Youth Elite Ohio Showcase in February. We are looking forward to seeing CamRon ball out at our event!

I became interested in basketball in 1st grade. I started playing at the park. Tell me about an exciting game that you played in. What happened? When I was in 7th grade I was in AAU tournament and it was the championship game I had 20 points and hit the game winning shot! How much time do you spend training and practicing? I spend 2-3 hours a day working on my game What words of encouragement do you have to share with younger athletes? To never give up What are you looking forward the most at NEO Youth Elite? To have fun and play basketball  Meech Coates is from Akron, Ohio. Meech is in the class of 2025 and wants to compete. Meech works on making sure the ball is moving and you set your team up for good shots. We look forward to seeing him play at the NEO Youth Elite Ohio Showcase in February!

Lebron James – He attacks the rim and passes the ball as often as he shoots. Can you tell me about 1 or 2 things you do in training to improve your game? Working on dribbling and shooting. What have you learned about team work? If you have good ball movement you can get a good shot. If you get good shots you get buckets. Tell me about your favorite NEO Youth Elite Moment. – This is going to be the first one. I am looking forward to seeing good competition.  Milan Perie is making a name for himself in the class of 2025. He is doing big things on the court. Milan handles the ball well and has a nice shot. He has a great basketball IQ for his age.
