6th Grade Evaluations
Eriana Thomas #4-OH
Eriana can impact the game on both ends of the floor. Her court vision is well beyond her age. She is a floor leader and finds different ways to put the ball in the hoop. She will add to the history of great point guards coming out of Ohio.
Amira Harrison #11-OK
Amira is flat out gritty. She had a great handle and her quickness makes up for her size. She will guard the best opponent and is fearless in breaking down any defense. She did a great job of getting her teammates involved in the game.
Queen Chalmers #34-KS
Queen is very athletic and moves extremely well up and down the floor. She finishes well in transition. She is a hard nosed defender who is not afraid to get on the floor. She had great upside moving forward.
Kennedi Young #129-VA
Kennedy got better as the games went on. On day 2 she really showed how well she can finish in the interior and the presence she can have on defense. The way she covers ground is very impressive.
Chloe Johnson #144-MN
Chloe showed in all games how she can score from all three levels. She has great court vision and does a nice job involving her teammates. Her strongest suit is she is like a coach on the floor directing her teammates into the right positions. She also showed great range as the two days went on. Chloe looks like a kid who will just continue to get better and better!
Alicia Mangram #151-KY
Alicia is strong and very good when attacking downhill. She can finish under contact and as the two days went on showcased her shooting range. When Alicia brings all her tools together she will take big steps forward!
Delaney Pierce #187-OH
Smooth and very athletic. Finishes well in transition. A very tough defender and can guard multiple positions.
Alyssa Brown #288-OH
Flat out tough. Plays extremely hard. Attacks really well and cannot be stopped heading downhill. Alyssa is a difference maker on both ends of the floor.
Izzy Lapp #310-OH
Izzy is a menace in the passing lanes. She is extremely quick in the open floor and finishes well for her size. When her feet are set she showed she can make shots. She will be one to keep an eye on in Northeast Ohio.
London Thomas #313-FL
London got better and better as the showcase went on. She had a dominating performance on Sunday morning by showcasing her knack for the ball on defense and finishing under contact on offense. She has a hard nosed attitude that will take her to the next level.
20-Kaleigh Lucas
When you say superstar in the making that's exactly what I mean. Ms. DO IT ALL. Overall Most Outstanding Player of the weekend. Top defender finalist. This young lady can play. Very shifty, handles the ball extremely well at her size but she had the heart of lion. Creating problems for her defenders all weekend long. She shot the ball exceptionally well and got to the rim whenever she wanted to. Her defense was outstanding and was a great leader when she was on the bench. That says alot about her off the court and her support for teammates. Hope to see her back next year.
33-Chloe Woodson
Chloe played very well this weekend. Great ball handler and made plays for both herself and teammates. Chloe also defended and shot the ball very well. She plays tough and hard, has a bright future ahead.
39- Alexis Valenzuela
This young lady played her way right into the spotlight. Her IQ is high. She was very shifty and handled the ball extremely well while making plays every time she touched the ball. Exciting player to watch.
289- Archer Jaycee
This young lady was exciting to see all weekend. Tough, great size, played both ends of the floor. Great ball handling skills and finished well around the rim with ease. Hope to see her at a new level next year.
91- Yana-Aaliayah Steven's
What a great player. Very tough, played both ends of the floor, great size and could defend very well. Could defend 1-5 and could sure play 1-5. Handled the ball well and finished with ease at the rim.
25- Brynlie Yarnell
Brynlie was a small guard with a big heart. Great ball handles, shifty and was getting to all her sweet spots. Shoots the ball very well and held her own at her size. Very bright future from this young lady.
193- Janaya White
Kanata White had herself a weekend. An MVP finalist and top defender award winner. What surprised me most was how well she ran that floor. Finished at the rim at a high rate. She was a defender, rebounding the ball very well and altered or blocked every shot that came to the rim. She will be very good.
135- Kassidy Cain
Kassidy was a stud this weekend. Disrupted the games in so many ways. MVP finalist and top defender award for the weekend. Her energy was so high and brought so much passion to the game. Gave her opponents fits on the defense of end as she record steal after steal and defending at a high level. Enjoyed watching such a great young talent this weekend.
31- Kaitlin Mitchell
Kaitlin had a good weekend of play. She defending very well and rebounded the basketball. She displayed great foot work and finished at the rim well with both hands about 90% of her attempts. She also displayed a great form and shot all weekend.
309- Janay Carter
Janay had a slow start to play but when I say she played her way right into the top 20 with multiple performances. She finished very well at the rim, ran the the floor and was great to watch this weekend. Great size and she's only going to grow more.
7th Grade Evaluations
#283-Chaniyra McDowell Isaacs- When I say she made it look easy, I mean she made it look
too easy. By far one of the best all-around players this weekend. Her vision, handles, IQ,
unselfishness, ability to finish at the rim, strength, and defense, are just a few things
Chaniyra displayed on a regular. The epitome of a lockdown defender was Mcdowell this
weekend. Lateral quickness, great feet, & defensive angle positioning really helps her defend
some of the elite guards in her grade. No one had any luck with her once she put the clamps
down. If you didn’t know who Chaniyra was coming into this weekend, I promise you will
from here on out as long as she keeps being hungry! Easily Top 2 in this class this weekend.
#218-Tatiana Mason- When I think of Tatiana’s game, I think of old school 80’s/90’s
basketball, fundamental and physical. Tatiana’s ability to drive to the hole with a purpose to
make a basketball play, is the classic way they played back in the day. It’s refreshing to see
some old school mixed in with the new and Mason displays that on a regular. She is great off
the dribble to create shoot or get to the bucket to score and get those oh so important paint
touches. Tatiana does it on the other end as well with an in your chest style of defense that
most girls can’t handle. Crazy thing about Tatiana’s game is she’s still figuring out of to play
and that’s scary cause she was easily Top 2 this weekend. You will be hearing her name for a
long time.
#176-Madisyn Aldridge- very physical wing that plays hard all the time on both ends of the
floor. Madison doesn’t know the meaning of taking a play off, which keeps her around the
ball at all times. Exceptional rebounder that runs the floor and finishes at the rim with an
aggression. The high motor Madisyn displays, keeps her in plays whether it’s a deflection,
loose ball, help defense, or getting teammates open for shots. Prime example of a hustle
player if I ever saw one.
#220-Kennedy Borders- is a lockdown defender with a great basketball IQ. Borders has great
court vision and attacks the rim very well while finishing with either hand. The best ability
Kennedy showed was that toughness on the defensive end of the floor by making it very
difficult for her opponent to score the basketball. Kennedy’s defense alone put her in the
top tier of defenders in the 7th grade and there was quite a few. What went under the radar
this weekend for Borders, was her ability to make play after play on the offensive end. She
was the Silent Assassin this weekend but made a lot of noise. Kennedy is just getting started
folks!!!!
#166-Ivanna Manyacka- was a Post that could do it all on both ends of the floor. Ivanna was
displaying all of her skills this weekend from scoring, passing, defending, dribbling, and IQ.
Manyacka was a rebounding machine who finishes well around the rim with a lot of
physicality. Ivanna, at times, showed guard skills in a big post body. She really showed why
she is one of the best post players in the 7th grade division this weekend.
#323-Kennedy Stamper- very unselfish player who controls tempo with the best of them.
Stamper has great court awareness along with exceptional handles while heavily being
pressured. Kennedy was making plays all weekend on offense and defensive end of the
floor. Runs the floor with space and pace and doesn’t backdown from a defensive
assignment. There is a sneaky ability about Stamper that is just waiting to come out. Maybe
because she comes the Bluegrass State of Kentucky where they breed ballers. Stay Tuned!!!!
#219-Aniston Jones- Aniston ‘dimes’ Jones is her name and passing is her game. Aniston
makes everyone around her better and that’s rare to see at a showcase. The most unselfish
player at the showcase this weekend. Dimes Jones has exceptional handles which helps her
get to the paint and create for herself and others. Don’t get it twisted cause Aniston can
score the ball outside of passing as well. The court vision and basketball IQ Dimes Jones has
is second to none and that will take her very far in this game.
#198-D’Myah Williams- D’Myah doesn’t quite know how good she can be. By far the best
athlectic Post in the 7th grade class this weekend. D’Myah gets up and down the floor like a
gazell in the woods. The ability to finish at the rim with both hands separates Williams from
all the Post on the weekend. A very good midrange jumper is in the bag for the smooth Post
player as well as her defense and rebounding ability. D’Myah is very quite and humble, but
will make a lot of noise in the future.
#521-Ta’Leeshea Williams- Ta’Leeshea is a very strong guard that can get to the bucket
pretty much whenever she wants. A good finisher at the rim and can create well for others.
Ta’Leeshea is what I call the Tina Charles of 7th graders cause she’s a load when in attack
mode. She displayed a great set of ball handling skills for a big guard as well as an elite shot.
Her combo ability will only get better as she gets older, bigger, and stronger. Look for
Williams to be a problem when she gets to High School.
#6-Skyler Ballard- an elite defender that is scrappy and tough on the defense end of the
floor. Skyler’s not the biggest person on the court to defend people but that doesn’t stop her
from taking on any challenge to lock someone up. Ballard was simply everywhere the ball
was this weekend and seldom missed a midrange shot or layup. Very unselfish by creating
for others to get them shots but also got her own shots. Easily one of the top defenders
along with pure hustle this weekend, but her overall play got her in the Top 20 of the 7th
grade division.
#317-Paityn London- a savy guard with excellent court vision. Paityn has very good handles
that helps her get to any spot on the court she wants in order to create for herself or others.
Finishes with either hand at the rim as well as pull up jump shot. London defends at a high
level and is not afraid of anyone to guard. Great hands and feet which makes Paityn a hard
defender to get around.
#279-Amariana Clark- I think Amariana is still running up and down the court and it’s not a
game going on. Speedy Gonzalez is what she reminds of when I watch Clark play. Even with
being non-stop up and down the floor, she is very fundamental with a high IQ of the game.
Jab steps, shot fakes, pivot foot, handles with either hand, is such a rarity at this age to get
players to do. Exceptional shooter from long range which really sets up her ability to drive
and finish in the lane with either hand. Can’t wait to see Amariana’s development once her
size catches up with that motor.
#225-Oluwatobiloba, Owol, Abi- displayed a ton of great ball handling and finishing skill at
the rim. Owol was very explosive attacking the basket while finishing in traffic. She was very
unselfish and played both ends of the floor. Abi showed why she was one of the top guards
in the 7th grade division often and early with her play from the very first game. A big key
thing Oluwatobiloba showed was her court vision and control of the game. Skies the limit for
Owol and we look forward to seeing her in the future.
#284-Nyla Edwards - A very quick and skilled guard that can flat score the basketball from
any position on the floor. Nyla is also very unselfish with excellent court vision that is on the
level of some older grades. She created well for others as well as herself all weekend with a
great sense of pride. I want to see Nyla be as aggressive on the defensive end of the floor as
she does on the offensive end. Edwards potential top be in the top 10 would skyrocket if she
owns that end of the floor as well.
#146-Brooke Schroeder- Talk about extreme confidence in her ability, Brooke defines
confidence and toughness. Exceptional ball handler with a knack for change of direction that
allows her to get in the paint and finish with many different angles. It’s Schroeder’s ability to
stroke the outside jumper which helps set up her paint touches on a regular. I would call
Brooke Ms. Fundamental cause everything about her game is straight from the book of
Fundamental basketball along with some grit. I see a sleeper in the 7th grade division.......
#378-Niseana Thrower- Plays both ends of the floor at a high level. Didn’t matter the player,
Niseana was willing to guard them the whole game. Thrower created well for others and
didn’t mind sharing the ball to get buckets. Very impressed how she handled the ball with
her weak hand to get herself into the paint to finish or make plays at the rim. Would love to
see Niseana be more aggressive to score in the midrange area because she could do it at a
high clip when she sets her mind to do it. Turner hasn’t come near scratching the surface of
how good she can be and the 7th grade division is on noticed because of her play this
weekend.
#136-Destiny Maze- long, athletic wing with handles that plays around the rim. As good as
Destiny is right now, she’s only gonna get better because she has motor that don’t stop.
Maze’s defense is very underrated which helps her get into transition to do what she do
best. Rebounding, defense, and running the floor are Destiny’s strong suit. Once that jumper
becomes consistent, look out basketball world because Destiny will be scary.
#306-Malika Jenkins- created shots for herself and others off the dribble with the best in her
grade this weekend. Malika’s ability to shoot from the outside helps her get into the paint
even though she is thin in stature. Can defend at a high level as well which showed her all-
around game. Jenkins is an aggressive, quick, and smart player with tons of energy.
Communicating with teammates all weekend was the biggest attribute to see from Malika.
#182-Rihanna Young- probably the most athletic wing here on the weekend. Rihanna is a
blur going up and down the court with an amazing ability to finish at the rim. Young can do it
all by defending, rebounding, blocking shots, and shooting. The best transition player with
explosion in the 7th grade class. Rihanna will fly under the radar but best believe we will be
talking about her later down the road.
#163-Sidney Butera- strong and tough defender that really gets in your chest when guarding
you. Sidney is very strong with the ball when driving with the ability to finish at very difficult
angles. Butera shows a very good basketball IQ as she communicates on defense to get
everyone in position to succeed. Sidney also showed great leadership on the offensive end
making sure teammates shared the ball to get great shots from sharing. Perfect example of
what coaches want out of all their players.
too easy. By far one of the best all-around players this weekend. Her vision, handles, IQ,

Once that jumper
becomes consistent, look out basketball world because Destiny will be scary.

grade this weekend. Malika’s ability to shoot from the outside helps her get into the paint
even though she is thin in stature. Can defend at a high level as well which showed her all-
around game. Jenkins is an aggressive, quick, and smart player with tons of energy.

blur going up and down the court with an amazing ability to finish at the rim.
