7th Grade top 20
Laurence Nathan- (#215) One of the most active, athletic, and has a long frame. Nice lefty with a very nice shooting touch. Not sure what position he can play but he can go coast to coast easily. Nice post game on the block plus uses his body well creating contact. My advice would be, you will only go as far as your weak hand. Build trust in your right hand.
Leif Gaines Jr- (#368) Mr. Gaines got game, a polished skillet and is a team player willing to pass. Could improve reading the game like reading traffic while driving. Have a purpose with every move. He is a solid defender with very good helpside awareness. I wish Mr. Gaines would shoot more and attack defense more to create for himself and his teammates.
Makel Harrison (# 139) In my opinion, Makel was a top 3 player in this showcase. He could pretty much go where he wanted on the court regardless of who was guarding him. He seemed very athletic, strong and confident. My suggestion would be if you want to play at the next level. You must work on the jump shot because you won’t be able to drive to the land every time. Learn to mix it up!
Fritz Trautmann (316) Mr. Trautmann has nice skills and you can tell his IQ is high by the way stays in the right place at the right time. I feel Fritz must get stronger and play more aggressively. I just felt like he has more left in his tank. Go get the ball bro and show what else or more you can do.
Brendan Styer (145) Plays with a very cool head demeanor. You can tell he is basketball smart. One of the top shooters at the NEO showcase in my opinion. Also one of the players who should have gone to go get the ball more. Mix your game up though shooting 3’s are cool but if you are unpredictable your 10 times harder to guard.
Michael Lewin Dowski- a very long and lanky guard but beside that. Plays with a very high motor being able to play both ends of the floor. Offensively being able to get to the paint whenever he wanted also showing that he can shoot from the outside. Defensively he’s a pest , stealing the ball while also getting every rebound.
Amari Tran (134) Had a great weekend being the great shooter that he is. He also finds multiple ways off the bounce finding ways to get his shot off. Also showed he a be very crafty being able to get to the paint at will being able to finish . Also showed signs of being a great defender
Joseph White (402) Is a very special player, especially at the point guard position, has great handles with a high IQ with many ways of scoring from pull up jumpers to being very crafty getting to the paint finish with a great court vision . Also, showed that the can play on both ends of the court showing that he can also be a pest on defense
Ronye Thompsan (204) True point guard with solid upside. He might have been on a team with less. However, it's a perfect opportunity for you to be a floor general. You can shoot pretty well. Your handles seem t be too high (dribble too high gets turnovers) and you must read the game better. You would cross the street without reading traffic basketball is the same way your body language speaks to you r ream, you are the leader.
Brian Sullivan (332) Maybe Brian is a point guard or maybe a point forward. I am not sure but he has a solid size to compliment his skills. Has the moves and talent to make a whole lot of plans because he is a natural play maker. My advice would be to focus on reading the defense and sharpen and polish that left hand dribbling and finishing layups. The game seems to come easy to Brian Sullivan the next level will require more aggression, you got this.
Beckett Currie (143) nice crafty guard really enjoyed watching him play had a nice handle giving him freedom to either attack the rim and slowly being able to shoot the ball as well as he did. The thing that stood out was his patience he showed not forcing the game and letting it come to hom and pick his spots to score and was good at it.
Noah Morgan (140) long, skinny and a scoring bully. I enjoyed watching Noah. Very aggressive driving to the basket but would like to see more assist. If you pass and get assists, then the defense has to respect two things not one. If only one player is one you get buckets. If you get doubled feared pass to keep defense honest.
Preston Sledge (274) one of the top PG’s not for points but as in getting other players involved. True point guards are hard to find and preston has the potential to do even more. My advice would be sharpened handles or ball handling against pressure defense (especially double teams) the better read the game the better decision you will make.
Brad Birch (160) one of my favorite players to watch. Great motor, hustles. Moves feet on defense , very active hands and more smart high IQ player with a very sneaky smooth handles to match always seemed to be at the right place and make the right play coldplay on my team any day be more aggressive and go get the ball
Ethan Sergio Young (170) Sergio has a nice size and a strong frame stays rebounding but doesn't seem like a big man if you are gin to play basketball especially guard spot you must read the game better so you are more aware of what's happening at all the focus on getting in better shape and shaping that jumper because i can penetrate every time.
Micheal Pace seems to play wither guard positions very well. One of the most unselfish players in the NEO Showcase Avery willing passer and score . My advice would be to get stronger keep polishing your dribble passing and shooting. Also, learn to use your triple threat more to protect the ball and be more efficient.
Jaiden Gladney (278) showed great poise the whole week and played great defense while scoring serves as a great slasher with multiple ways of getting to the paint and finishing he also passed a good looking shot to his game showing that he can shoot off the dribble and spot up.
David Avit (201) showed the ability to show he will be a great leader showed police and sowed his basketball IQ is very high he also adds to his dame with wanting to play defense and showing that he can be effective on both ends of eh e court
Jacobi Posey (209) True point guard the entire weekend he showed what a true point guard is with being able to get into the land and dinding his teammates while being able to pick his spots to score Did a great job of letting the game ame to mand bot fore the issue had a good weekend.
Casious Johnson (356) Had a great day two on both ends showing that he can defend every position on the floor to being able to find ways to get to the pint and scare. A very strong versatile player that plays as hard as he can and makes a big difference on both ends.

Davian Gonzalez (354) Nice lean athletic big. Probably the biggest upside out of the group . He ran the floor like a deer making plays on both ends. This kid blocked everything on the defensive end offensive he scored well around the basket and displayed a quick second bounce getting offensive rebounds and put backs.
Will Starks (191) strong athletic guard that plays with a high motor on both ends of the floor. The energy he played with was noticeable . He displayed a solid handle and jump shot both days.
Elijah King (183) played with a lot of heart and swagger this kid was probably the toughest kid his class he never backed down and went at everybody he's a left with nice handles and jump shot he got in the lane at will and finished strong.
Jyles Brandon (1) smooth pg with great court vision. Played with pace and control he showed great court vision making several pinpoint passes he showed a nice handle and knocked down shots from 3.
